Our Mission

TradeSmart exists to help people develop themselves into independent traders.

We believe the objective of trading education should not be to make a trader dependent on an educator, a signal service, an indicator or someone else's decisions. It should be to develop the knowledge, framework, process and decision-making ability required to operate independently.

That starts with learning to read the market professionally, then developing a structured way to plan, execute, record and review trading decisions.

The TradeSmart Difference

Read the market before choosing how to trade it

We teach market understanding first. Strategy comes after a trader can interpret what price is doing and why.

Foundations before strategies

A collection of setups is not a professional trading education. Traders need the underlying skills on which strategies can be built.

A framework and a process — not isolated techniques

Professional trading requires a Trading Framework consisting of a Trading Plan, Trading Log and Trading Journal.

That framework is used throughout the Trading Process:

Preparation → Trading / Execution → Follow-Up & Review.

Evidence before conclusions

When something is not working, we examine the trader's actual decisions and evidence before deciding whether the constraint lies in market reading, strategy, planning, risk, execution, behavior or review.

Develop independence, not dependence

TradeSmart training, the Live Trading Room and private work are designed to help traders develop their own ability to understand markets and make informed trading decisions — not depend on TradeSmart to make those decisions for them.
